Hardwood is priced by volume and plywood by the sheet, and neither matches the way a project is drawn. These calculators go from a list of boards to board feet and a price, and from a list of parts to the sheets they fit on, with the width of the saw cut counted between them.
A cutting diagram is a plan, not a promise: check each sheet for defects and the direction of its grain before the first cut.
